Methods for removing Samsung app pop-up ads

It may be causing the pop-like-up ads in apps or on your lock screen. To get rid of them, disconnect or delete the app. Turning on aeroplane mode is another way to get rid of pop-up ads in apps. In-app pop-ups, on the other hand, can be fixed by checking the Google Play Store to see which apps were updated or added recently. Then, you can remove them one by one until the ads stop showing up. That’s easy to do:

Step 1: On your phone or computer, open the Google Play Store.

Step 2: Clicking your profile image in the top right corner opens a menu. Select Manage apps and devices.

Step 3: Choose Manage from the menu at the top.

Step 4: Select Recently updated from the menu that appears next to Apps and Games.

Samsung Internet: How to disable pop-up ads

There are annoying pop-up ads that you can get rid of for good when you use Samsung Internet to browse the web:

Step 1: Plug in your Samsung internet.

Step 2: Click on the menu with three lines in the bottom right corner.

Step 3: Click on Settings.

Step 4: Pick from the sites and files.

Step 5: Turn on Block pop-ups.

Step 6: Select Ad Blockers from the main Settings menu. Get an Ad Blocker from the list.

You may need to open Samsung Internet on some phones, then go to Settings > Browsing privacy panel and turn on Block pop-ups.

Methods for preventing Chrome pop-up ads

On Android, Chrome reigns supreme. It has a few built-in features that block pop-up ads instantly. On Android, one of the best Chrome tips will stop pop-up ads right in their tracks if you’re still seeing them. That’s easy to do:

Step 1: Open Chrome on your phone or computer.

Step 2: Open Settings by clicking the three dots in the upper right corner. The drop-down menu offers Settings and Site Settings.

Step 3: Make sure that the “Block sites from showing pop-ups and redirects” switch is off under “Pop-ups and redirects.” If you turn it on, pop-ups will appear, which is confusing.

Step 4: To Block ads on sites that show annoying or false ads, go back to the Site settings menu, select Ads, and make sure it’s not turned on.

Methods for using Chrome to see which websites have access to which files

If you can’t get rid of annoying pop-ups in Chrome, you may already have permitted websites to do so. Try the steps below:

Step 1: Open Chrome and go to the page you want to visit.

Step 3: Tap the “i”-shaped button that says “Information” in the upper right corner again, and then tap “Permissions.”

Step 4: Make sure messages are marked as allowed. If it is, go to Notifications and turn off Show messages.

Solution for Samsung Global Goals pop-up ad blocking

Samsung Global Goals is already on most Samsung phones. If you’ve set up the app, you may see annoying pop-ups on your lock screen while your phone is charging. To turn this off and get rid of annoying pop-ups, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the Samsung Global Goals app.

Step 2: Locate the menu that appears as three vertical dots in the top right corner and click on it. Select Settings from the resulting drop-down menu.

Step 3: Go to the Global Goals Lock screen and make sure it’s turned off.

Step 4: Next, go to the Global Goals charging screen and make sure it’s turned off again.

There are add-ons and plug-ins for many websites that can handle pop-up ads for you if you need help with them in other browsers. In most browsers, the settings menu has a search function for plug-ins and add-ons.
